The Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha is a mosque situated in the Citadel of Cairo in Egypt and was commissioned by Muhammad Ali Pasha between 1830 and 1848. This Ottoman mosque was the largest to be built in the first half of the 19th century.
This mosque, along with the citadel, is one of the landmarks and tourist attractions of Cairo and is one of the first features to be seen when approaching the city from any direction.

The couple sit in the presence of a Muslim cleric along with the bride's father and two witnesses for both groom and bride.

So in order to protect and respect the place, the following rules apply:
No smoking
The venue is only available from 5 PM till 8 PM o’clock so please don’t be late
Dress Modestly Semi-formal/Cocktail Soiree, no head covering required
Parking is available inside and paid for already
We wish your children under 16 years a good night’s sleep
